England’s Lionesses roared to victory in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 final, after a dramatic extra time winner over Germany at Wembley.

Ella Toone gave England the lead in the 62nd minute with a sublime lob, before Germany’s Lina Magull scored a flick-on in the 79th minute.

Chloe Kelly had the final say on the match poking home from close range after Germany failed to clear a corner in the 110th minute.

The victory marks England’s first major trophy since the men won the 1966 World Cup and the first major trophy for the Lionesses.

England forward Beth Mead won player of the tournament and Golden Boot at Euro 2022 after edging Germany’s Alexandra Popp, despite both players finishing on six goals.
