Ezra Collective are to set to mark ten years of ‘Chapter 7‘ with a special anniversary reissue of their landmark debut EP, arriving digitally and via D2C vinyl on April 17, ahead of a wider vinyl release on June 5.

Originally released in 2016, Chapter 7 captured the restless energy of a young band finding its voice and laying the foundation for a journey that would go on to reshape the landscape of contemporary British jazz.

The forthcoming Chapter 7 (10th Anniversary Edition) revisits that formative statement from a band who have since become genuine trailblazers. Now recognised as the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize and the first jazz band to win the BRIT Award for Group of the Year, Ezra Collective return to where it all began.

Remastered for vinyl and expanded with new material, the anniversary edition features additional live recordings including performances from NPR’s Tiny Desk and the band’s landmark Royal Albert Hall show, offering a deeper insight into the evolution of one of the UK’s most vital live acts.

To celebrate the release, Ezra Collective will host a very special, intimate fan event at Colour Factory in London on April 18, partnering with one of their original champions – promoter and talent development organisation Jazz re:freshed – in a full-circle moment that reflects the band’s roots in London’s grassroots scene.

Framed as a thank you to the community that has supported them from the very beginning, the event will be free to attend, with tickets allocated via ballot.

Fans can sign up for access via the Openstage-hosted ballot opening at 10am GMT on Friday 27th HERE.
