Fatboy Slim Announces New Book To Celebrate 40 Years In Showbiz
27 Feb 2025
Fatboy Slim, aka Normal Cook has today unveiled the launch of ‘It Ain’t Over ’til the Fatboy Sings’, a highly illustrated book celebrating his 40 years in showbiz.
Coming later this year, It Ain’t Over ‘til the Fatboy Sings is more than just a book—it’s a vivid celebration of indie, house, acid, and remix culture. Across 300+ pages, Norman’s photos, flyers, and stories take us on a rave through every scene he’s helped shape since the mid-1980s.
Norman Cook says on the launch “Next year I’ll be celebrating 40 years in showbiz, and to celebrate that we thought we’d create a big book full of stuff which I’ve kept over the years of my long and chequered career… from pre-Housemartins, through Beats International, Freakpower and of course Fatboy Slim. You’ll see what I’ve kept and read about what it all means in one big, beautiful book.”
With almost 1000 images, this book is a dazzling, almost intoxicating visual party. Inside, readers will find personal photos, original artwork, flyers and posters that Norman has saved since forming his first band at 15.
