First real glimpse of LeBron James in new trailer for ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’

25 years since the Looney Tunes first graced the the basketball court, Bugs Bunny and the gang are back this time enlisting the help of Lebron James. On Saturday, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Space Jam: A New Legacy., which introduces us to Lebron James, a gifted basketball player and struggling father.

After a few mishaps James somehow finds himself in the world of the Looney Tunes needing to win a basketball game against a rogue artificial intelligence in order to rescue his onscreen son and escape a virtual reality.

The trailer also includes an NBA reference to the iconic photo of LeBron and Dwyane Wade connecting on an alley-oop. Only this time, Lola Bunny played by Zendaya makes the lobbed assist.


“Space Jam: A New Legacy″ is set to debut in theaters and on HBO Max on July 16.
