Floyd Mayweather is heading back into the ring announcing he will fight YouTuber Logan Paul in an exhibition style fight in February 2021.

The fight is the culmination of months of back and forth jabs between the two on social media. Logan Paul has boxed before but only against common opposition, bested by fellow YouTuber KSI in two 6 round fights in 2018 and 2019.

The 43 year old, retired boxing champion is making a habit of taking up these exhibition matches. He fought UFC champion Conor McGregor in 2017 earning him and the Irish man a guaranteed $100 million and $30 million pay check respectively. The purse for the two fighters however was expected to be more substantial as high as $280 million for Floyd and $130 million for Conor.

He also fought Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition bout earning himself an easy £6.7m.

Paul’s younger brother Jake Paul knocked out former NBA player and Dunk Contest Winner Nate Robinson in the undercard of the Tyson vs Jones fight last week.
