Former Liverpool Manager Gerard Houllier Passes

Former Liverpool FC, PSG and Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier has sadly passed away at the age of 73. Houllier OBE was best known for his success at Liverpool, with whom he won the FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2001.

Before his passing the frenchman had been the head of global football for Red Bull since 2012. Responsible for Austrian side Res Bull Salzburg, Germany’s RB Leipzig and American club New York Red bulls as well as the now dissolved Red Bull academies in Ghana and Brazil.

He also became the technical director of both of Lyons women’s teams Olympique Lyonnais Féminin in France and OL Reign in the USA.
