Girls Don’t Sync Partner With Relentless For £20K DJ Grant
20 Apr 2026
UK powerhouse group Girls Don’t Sync and Relentless Energy have launched the 2026 edition of their ‘Local’ initiative. This is dedicated to platforming emerging UK artists and creative talent from regional areas, expanding in 2026 to offer a nationwide grant and event series in celebration of local scenes and the communities which build them.
Four music collectives across the UK will be given the chance to power their party with up to £20,000 in grants, kicking off a series of events heralded by a homecoming show from Girls Don’t Sync in Liverpool. The group return to District in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle on May 14th, where they had their first gig, and will be joined by Daisie Anderson, Decks in the City, TJOS, and Adele Tondu.
Speaking on the initiative, Girls Don’t Sync state:
“We were made in Liverpool – we had our first gig in District and so to come back here and re-invest in the community that believed in us from the start is really special.
There’s so much experimentation and musical growth happening outside of London that is often forgotten about and it’s so exciting to be able to give a real platform for local scenes to put on their own events with Relentless. We can’t wait to see the talent and creativity these budding collectives have to offer, so get applying now!”
