CGM mainstay Horrid1 has come through with his new single, ‘Hunch’. Produced by M1OnTheBeat, Horrid1 glides through the instrumental with his signature style of power and aggression.

His second ever solo single, Horrid1 has made a name for himself as part of CGM. The West London Drill collective have helped elevate the genre, whilst staying true to the sound that saw them rise. CGM remain culturally relevant to this day, as can be seen by Digga D’s number 1 album this year.

Horrid1 is a frequent collaborator with his younger brother, Sav’O. The two artists have undoubted chemistry and have achieved success with tracks such as ‘Keep Talkin’, and ‘Evil Brothers’. The latter track saw success on TikTok, and has now been streamed over 3 million times on Spotify. The duo also released a joint mixtape earlier this year, entitled ‘Violent Siblings’, featuring the likes of Digga D and PR SAD. Horrid1 also found his way onto ‘Noughty By Nature’, Digga D’s debut album, on the tune ‘Secret’. Elsewhere this year Horrid1 has been popping up on features, be it with Taze on ‘Rinse It’, or the Drum & Bass hit single ‘Burn Dem Bridges’ by Australian DJ, Skin On Skin.

‘Hunch’ is the perfect example of what Horrid1 does best. The rapper attacks M1’s ferocious beat with a hard hitting chorus with wordplay based around his nickname ‘Huncho’. A catchy hook paired with two punchy verses is more than enough to leave fans wanting more from Horrid1, and they won’t be disappointed as he gears up for a solo project.
