Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi made an emotional and triumphant return to the stage this afternoon, headlining a much-anticipated “secret slot” on the iconic Pyramid Stage.

Stepping out to thunderous cheers and chants of “Oh, Lewis Capaldi!”, the 28‑year‑old kicked off his short but powerful set with his hit “Before You Go” before unveiling his latest single, ‘Survive‘.

The performance marked his first Glastonbury appearance since 2023, when his set was cut short amid vocal strain and vocal tics related to his Tourette’s Syndrome

A meaningful moment of resilience, reconnection, and artistry, Capaldi stepped forward with fresh material and renewed energy, anchored in vulnerability, support, and creative resurgence.

In Lewis’s words… “My name is Lewis Capaldi, and I’m back baby”.

Glastonbury is being shown live on BBC iPlayer today here.
