Juliet Omoregie, mother of musician and actor Dave, has launched a new community-led foundation to support vulnerable adults and the elderly with care and dignity programmes supporting people leaving the hospital and experiencing homelessness.

The Foundation currently runs two core programmes: Care Packages, first piloted at St George’s Hospital and now available at NHS Trusts across London, and Dignity Kits, which have been distributed on the streets of London for several years and are now being rolled out across shelters throughout the city.

“After decades working in healthcare, I saw how often people were sent home from the hospital or left without the basic essentials,” says Juliet, Founder of The Juliet O Foundation. “This Foundation is about dignity and compassion – about making sure people feel seen, supported and cared for at moments when they need it most.”

The Juliet O Foundation is a community-based, non-profit charity organisation founded by Juliet Omoregie with a commitment to dignity, compassion and practical support for people at their most vulnerable.

“The Juliet O Foundation is rooted in real life and real need”, says Dave “It has helped countless people based on its values of selflessness, community and hope. I saw my mum working every single day of helping the community as a nurse, and when she retired, she carried that same energy into this amazing mission”

Juliet, a former NHS professional with over 30 years of experience – most recently working as a Reablement and Assessment Officer – developed the idea for the Foundation through her frontline work. She repeatedly encountered patients returning home from the hospital without essential items or adequate support, highlighting a gap in care that often went unseen. Juliet established The Juliet O Foundation to respond directly to these needs, combining lived experience, professional insight and a strong sense of community responsibility.
