Leostaytrill fronts JD’s Air Jordan 4 Black Cat campaign

JD, the leading retailer for sports, fashion and lifestyle brand, have unveiled the highly anticipated return of the Air Jordan 4 ‘Black Cat’, fronted by rising UK rapper LeoStayTrill, representing the next gen of fearless energy. 

Known for his bold and uncompromising artistry, LeoStayTrill brings fresh cultural relevance to the legendary Jordan silhouette. The breakout star has had a major year following the release of his Home Alone EP, stand out performances at Reading and Leeds festival, Our Homecoming festival as well as two MOBO Award nominations – cementing him as a vital leader for the youth of today. His involvement signals a new era for the ‘Black Cat’, connecting MJ’s legacy with the spirit of current youth culture.

Originally released in 2006, the ‘Black Cat’ returns with its signature monochromatic nubuck upper, graphite matte details, hard-shell moulds and classic Jordan netting, staying true to the stealthy, calculated ethos behind Michael Jordan’s iconic nickname. Underfoot, Nike Air cushioning delivers the unmistakable Jordan bounce, paired with a durable rubber outsole for grip that performs on the street as much as the court. 

The Air Jordan 4 ‘Black Cat’ was made available in limited numbers at JD stores on Friday, 28th November.
