Letitia Wright, our Rising Star

Letitia Wright has soared since her outstanding performance as Shuri in the 9th highest-grossing film of all time, Black Panther.

Letitia recently received BAFTA’s Rising Star award. In her heartfelt speech she revealed her past battle with depression and wanting to quit acting.

“The only thing that pulled me out of that was God , my belief, my family…” she says.

Her story is one of perseverance and encouragement. The actress’ breakout role has also landed her on Forbes’ Under 30 list. Congratulations, Letitia Wright!
