Amazon Music has today announced UK musician and cultural curator Little Simz as the next artist to feature in its Songline series.

The film takes an exclusive deep dive into the BRIT Award and Mercury Prize winning artist’s songwriting process, her approach to live performances and stories behind the music. In the episode, Little Simz talks through the tracks from her latest album “Lotus” before her performance at Meltdown Festival at the Royal Festival Hall with the Chineke Orchestra in June 2025 – with the full show available to watch in the Songline film.

Fans can also enjoy performances and the stories behind other popular Little Simz classics including “Woman”, “Point and Kill”, “Gorilla” and more.

The “Little Simz Amazon Music Songline” EP will be available to stream on Amazon Music on Friday 7th November, with live track recordings taken from the film, alongside a film trailer. The full Little Simz Songline episode will then be released globally to watch on Friday 21st November.

“The Songline series gives fans a glimpse into the songwriting processes of some of music’s most creative minds”, said Tom Winkler, Head of Publisher, Songwriter, and Society Relations at Amazon Music.

”Little Simz is one of the UK’s most creative and exciting artists and her Songline takes fans behind the scenes of her incredible live performance earlier this year and an exclusive look at what went into creating her brilliant Lotus album. We can’t wait for people to watch it.”

Ahead of the Songline’s full release next month, fans can enjoy exclusive clips with Little Simz’s performance of “Free” available to watch now here, with a preview of her performance of title track “Lotus” dropping on the 14th November.
