PS Hitsquad is officially back and he has put on an intimate show at the Servant Jazz Quarters on Wednesday to mark the occasion. The Peckham drill artist is enjoying being back outside after spending some time away and he seems more ready to go than ever.
Sporting nothing but black tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and his ankle tag as part of his release conditions, PS hit the stage with vim. He was joined by his close friends who kept the vibes going while PS offered a rendition of his well known track such as ‘Guten Tag’, ‘Petrol Station’ and ‘Hot Topic’.
Ahead of his debut album release in July, the rapper also performed an array of exclusive tracks off the project, which were very well received by the audience.
Fellow South London artist Lil Sykes also made an appearance to perform their feature track ‘Chicago’, as well as Skengdo x AM who performed their notorious ‘Mad About Bars’ set.
PS Hitsquad seems very motivated to make some serious career moves this year, from releasing a debut album to experimenting with different sounds as he is known for his ability to spit on any genre. His latest single, ‘Chasing My Grave’ is a fusion of rock and rap, which not highlights his skills upon listening but also gets a room full of people going as we have seen during his homecoming show.
It’s safe to say that PS is motivated and focused, and his show not only marked his release but also the positive direction he is going this year.
