A man claims to have lost a whole 1.5 inches from the length of his penis a symptom he first encountered after contracting the covid-19 virus.

Struck with a case of erectile dysfunction the man lamented his woes in a letter sent to the “How To Do It” podcast.

“In July of last year, I contracted COVID and was very sick. When I got out of the hospital, I had some erectile dysfunction issues,” he wrote.

“[The erectile dysfunction] gradually got better with some medical attention, but I seemed to be left with a lasting problem. Before I got sick [my penis] was above average. Not huge, but definitely bigger than normal,”

“Now I’ve lost about an inch and a half and become decidedly less than average.”

Doctors told the shaken man that his new body configuration was “apparently due to vascular damage” with the victim admitting “it has had a profound impact” on his “self confidence in my abilities in bed.”

Some theorise that penis shortening could be one of the additional symptom associated with new COVID-19 variants and “Long COVID” that are continually being discovered and documented.

A study published in the World Journal of Men’s Health by University of Miami Miller School of Medicine concluded widespread endothelial cell dysfunction from Covid-19 infection can contribute to significant erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Charles Welliver, a urologist and Director of Men’s Health at Albany Medical College, NY, corroborated the theory explaining that Covid-19 infection can cause erectile dysfunction, and in some cases, shortening of the penis if the erectile dysfunction persists.

“There are pretty significant vascular issues that occur with guys. Studies have actually shown that guys can get priapism and guys can also get erectile dysfunction from Covid-19, so it can kind of go both directions. When guys get erectile dysfunction, they get a lack of erections for a while, and when that happens they actually do get some shrinkage.”
