Maya Jama Lands A Presenting Role At BBC Radio 1

Maya Jama is the latest presenter to join BBC Radio 1 team. She will host the Greatest Hits show every Saturday from 10am to 1pm and will also join Scott Mills every Friday afternoons.

Filed with excitement, the former MTV presenter took to her social media to announce the news –

“I am now OFFICIALLY a BBCR1 presenter with my very own show every Saturday & I will be joining the legends Scott Mills & Chris Stark on their show every Friday.  Weekends just got a bit different! Such an exciting start to 2018 New chapter  thanks everyone” – she said

A huge congratulations to Maya on the new role and we look forward to more big things this year.

Saturdays

6am-10am – Radio 1’s Weekend Breakfast with Dev and Alice

10am-1pm – Radio 1’s Greatest Hits with Maya Jama

1pm-4pm – Matt Edmondson and a celebrity co-host

4pm-7pm – Radio 1’s Dance Anthems with MistaJam

Sundays

6am-10am – Radio 1’s Weekend Breakfast with Dev and Alice

10am-1pm – Radio 1’s Greatest Hits with Jordan North

1pm-4pm – Matt Edmondson

4pm-7pm – Radio 1’s Life Hacks with Cel Spellman and Katie Thistleton
