Mizuno Sportstyle’s Techno-Futuristic Wave Prophecy Moc Returns Once More, Draped In A Taupe Premium Suede

Having already arrived once in a dark brown suede, and twice before that adorning a Gore-tex lining and a black leather upper, Mizuno Sportstyle welcomes back their new age classic in the Wave Prophecy Moc as it adopts a previously unseen premium, taupe suede upper.

Sat atop the brand’s Infinity Wave midsole tooling as it runs from heel to toe, a sand-toned crimped upper, elastic-fastened tongue formatting and two pull-tabs for ease of wear reside. But, for Mizuno Sportstyle the ‘sneaker loafer’ trend was far from a fad, it harks back to their ‘Infinity Ring Moc’ silhouette of the mid-00’s. 

Unlike those also falling into the ‘sneaker loafer’ circus of recent months, the Wave Prophecy Moc is not inherently a hybrid. The Moc upper as it appears here doesn’t exist within Mizuno’s footwear portfolio, and therefore it is designed to exist as its own entity. Naturally aspirated to be the Wave Prophecy Moc, setting itself aside from the rest.

Staking its claim on the contemporary coffee spots, paved streets and outdoor chess boards of Barcelona by means of editorial, the Wave Prophecy Moc exemplified the ability to channel everyday wearability without compromising on perennial comfort.
