London’s famous Notting Hill Carnival has fallen to Covid-19 again, with organisers confirming the festival will “not be on the streets due to the ongoing uncertainty and risk COVID-19 poses.”

In place of the carnival which is attended by millions every year, a virtual event ‘Notting Hill Carnival: Access All Areas’ is to be held helping to soften the blow of this year’s cancellation.

Last year saw the first time 54 years that that it didn’t take place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
