Olami releases highly-anticipated EP ‘Guide Me Through’

Over the last two years UK rapper Olami Still has smashed in to the UK Rap scene. Collaborations with some of the UK’s biggest names including One Acen and Not3s shows he has the levels that fellow artists want to work with, whilst his run of solo releases, including previous EP ‘Guide Me Out’ have landed him in the top 3 iTunes Hip Hop chart. Now presenting the sequel to his EP and the next chapter documenting his journey, Olami Still presents ‘Guide Me Through’.

A collection of 5 tracks, ‘Guide Me Through’ features the undeniable production talents of D L K, GA and Thrilla, alongside artist features from SVGA and Martinet Soldier, which touches on the story of Olami Still’s journey so far. The EP also includes the previously released ‘Flex Like Dat’ which reeled in impressive support across Kiss Fresh , BBC Radio 1Xtra and community radio stations.  Meanwhile go-to tastemakers Trench Magazine highlighted that “it’s immediately clear in the upbeat instrumental from @ItsThrillaBaby and inventive, girl-chasing wordplay that Olami Still was raised on a steady diet of rap’s finest”.

To celebrate the EP release, Olami Still drops the video for the second EP single, ‘One Time’. Bouncy flows, lyrical wordplay, melodic beats and skittering snares wind round a singsong hook on one of the EP’s most upbeat records.  Elsewhere on the tracklist, you will be soaking in nifty piano riffs, jazzy summer vibes and a mixture of laidback and bouncy flows giving ‘Guide Me Through’ a thoroughly contemporary drop with a real classic feel.
