Panathinaikos Are Set To Pay The Entire 3-Year Contract Of George Baldock To His Wife To Help Raise Their 1-Year-Old Child

Panathinaikos are reportedly set to pay the full salary of George Baldock, who tragically passed away last week. 

The former Sheffield United right back was found unresponsive in a communal pool in Athens. Despite quick efforts by emergency services, Baldock could not be revived.

Panathinaikos, which moved to just this summer, will reportedly make a remarkable gesture towards the Baldock family. 

The Greek club are set to pay out Baldock’s entire contract to support his fiancé and one-year-old son, according to Tribuna.

Additionally, the club is planning to hold a charity match in 2025 to further assist the family during this difficult time.
