PlayStation Shares Look At New Black & Red PS5 Controllers
15 May 2021
Sony announced two new colors for PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller: a “cosmic red” model that features a two-tone red and black design, and an all-black “midnight black”.
Previously Sony only offered the DualSense controller in a black-and-white color scheme to match the PS5 (which features a similar contrasting theme), with the new colour ways a throwback to classic PS2, PS3, and PS4 controller designs.
Rumours have been circulating that with the PlayStation 5 console removable face plates feature the Japanese company may introduce matching plates for the PS5 sometime in the near future.
Unfortunately PS5 stock issues are expected to run into 2022, according to Sony’s Chief Financial Officer, Hiroki Totoki. The gloomy prediction comes thanks to the global semiconductor shortage.
But if you already have one or want to get ahead of the demand GAME already has them up for pre-order, where the Midnight Black is £59.99 and the Crimson Red, for some reason, is £64.99.
