Andrew Tate has had his request to leave Romania to visit his ill mother in the UK rejected.

Tate who is still facing rape and human trafficking charges made the request for an “emergency visit to London” to see his mother in hospital after she suffered a heart attack.

In August, the Tate and his brother Tristan were released from house arrest, but were required to stay in the Romanian capital Bucharest.

Tate’s spokesperson said the ruling “has left us disheartened”

“Andrew and Tristan have maintained an impeccable record of adhering to all restrictions and have never violated any regulations, affirming their commitment to compliance and proving that they are not a flight risk,” the spokesperson’s statement read.

In a post on X after the ruling, Tate said: “Rejected. The Romanian state decided she must be alone at Christmas, if she is alive.”

In a follow-up post, he said: “There’s no innocent until proven guilty in Romania.”

Both brothers continue to deny all allegations and have recently attempted to legally reclaim confiscated assets, including luxury cars and watches worth millions.
