Snoop Dogg Announces His Retirement From Smoking

Snoop Dogg has announced he will be calling time on smoking.

The rapper and actor, who for many has become a point of reference for describing heavy smokers of marijuana, took to social media to release a statement on the decision.

“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time,” he posted on Instagram and X.

However, Snoop’s well documented and prolific enthusiasm for cannabis has many people skeptical of the announcement.

This is also not the first time Snoop has stepped back from the world of drugs having previously said he was quitting the drug for good back in 2002.

Only time will tell if this is genuine life changing news or a publicity stunt.
