Teacher Arrested For Hosting ‘Fight Club’ In Her Classroom

A Florida school teacher is facing charges for her role in organising fights between students in her classroom.

The women identified as Angel Footman, 23, was allegedly, “Contributing to the delinquency of a minor” at Griffin middle school in Tallahassee, FL.

Statements like “30 seconds, no screaming, no yelling, no phones”, “stop pulling hair” and “no screaming” were alleged to come from middle school teacher during the fights, who students say “not only pre-planned but endorsed”.

“According to the documents, several sixth-grade girls told detectives that they participated in planned fights during school hours, and they allege they were invited back for additional fights,” WCTV  reports.

Footman told investigators she did not host fights but failed to call for help or take quick action to stop the altercations or report them to administrators.

Scheduled for May 4 court date, if convicted Footman could face up to a year behind bars for each charge.
