Tickets For Fyre Fest II Retailing For As Much As £6K & Selling Out Despite No Venue, Date Or Line Up
22 Aug 2023
Disgraced festival promoter Billy McFarland is reviving the infamous Fyre Festival.
Set to take place somewhere in the Caribbean, late 2024, tickets have reportedly already started to sell out despite no date, lineup or venue being announced yet.
In a promo video, McFarland said, “This is a big day because, as of right now, Fyre Festival 2 tickets are officially on sale. It has been the absolute wildest journey to get here, and it really all started during the seven-month stint in solitary confinement. I wrote out this 50-page plan of how it would take this overall interest and demand in Fyre and how it would take my ability to bring people from around the world together to make the impossible happen.”
Co-founded by McFarland and NY rapper Ja Rule, the disastrous festival become subject of a hit Netflix documentary, with McFarland accused of defrauding investors of $27.4 million and eventually serving four years in a federal prison.
Prices start at $499 (£320) for the first 100 tickets, going as high as $7,999 (£6,290) and are now available on the festival’s ticketing website.
