VELUM Studios Founded To Help African Content Creators

VELUM Studios has announced the launch of VELUM Creators Hub 2025, a content creation studio aiming to empower Africa’s emerging talent. Founded by Gilmore as well as music label executives Godfrey and Giovanni, VELUM Studios seeks to bridge the gap between local creativity and global recognition.

The studio plans to sign and develop up to 100 emerging digital storytellers over the next year, driving hundreds of millions of views across digital platforms, and positioning talent in the best place to access international grants and funding opportunities.

Speaking on the project, Gilmore states:
