Young Hero Stabbed To Death As He Helped 84-Year-Old Woman After Knife Attack

The Good Samaritan who stepped in and try to save an elderly women after she was attacked by a knifeman has been named locally as Ali Abucar Ali.

Ali Abucar Ali, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene on Albany Parade at 8pm

Ali was reportedly suffered the fatal injuries while protecting 84-year-old great-great grandmother Betty Walsh, who remains in hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Norris Henry, 37, has been charged with the murder of Mr Ali and the attempted murder of Ms Walsh after both were stabbed in the incident, the Met said in a statement.
