A house hold name gunning to become a global superstar…

Vevo has today launched their  ‘dscvr’ Artists To Watch list for 2018.  A partnership they have with MBW, which will see them reveal 10 UK artists to watch out for in 2018.

First on the list is East London rapper Yxng Bane who has proven to be the real deal. A rapper, singer, very creative and a fashion lover.

2017 has seen him mature as an artist. Musically, there’s no doubt that he’s now a house hold name in not just the Urban scene but UK as a whole.

How has Yxng Bane fared this year?

His year began with a remix to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ single – one that Ed approved himself and has so far gained over 14 million views.  Then followed by a host of collaborations that saw him join Kojo Funds, Fredo, Frisco & Jme on the remix to ‘Dun Talkin‘. A WSTRN assisted rendition of his hit single ‘Fine Wine‘ before being called in by Afro B on the soothing ‘Juice & Power’ single.

Yxng Bane’s joint with Yungen ‘Bestie‘ has no doubt been one of the tracks of 2017. The radio stations can’t get enough of it and it still definitely goes of at clubs. ‘Bestie’ helped the rapper claim his first UK Charts Top 10 single, with over 27 million Spotify streams and 20M Youtube views to date.

In addition to that, Baney Boy unveiled two singles ‘Froze‘ and ‘Rihanna’. The video to ‘Rihanna’ was his debut on Vevo and currently has over 7 millions views as well as doing well in the charts.

Much credit goes to G Fresh who signed Yxng Bane to Disturbing London (Not a Label) and at this rate, he will eventually become a global superstar.
