£lmoe Bands may be young, but he’s already making waves in the U.K. scene. He first garnered attention for featuring on the ‘Intro‘ to the ‘Hardest U18s Cypher 2021‘ project which has over 6.5 million streams on Spotify. He’s followed up on this early success with two singles in 2022 in the form of ‘LEICESTER‘ and ‘Bankroll,’ with the latter gaining over 100k views on YouTube.

The rapper from Thornton Heath has now brought his skippy flow to a 2-part ‘Next Up‘ and we discussed the experiences that define his lyrics and when we can expect a full-length project from £lmoe Bands.

Is Your Two Part ‘Next Up‘ an Example of Your Versatility in Content and Beats You Can Flow Over?

Yeah for sure! I wanted to show the people I’m not just your average Drill rapper. I’m an ‘actual artist,’ that can flow over many different types of beats.

How Have You Dealt With Blowing Up From a Young Age?

At this current moment, I wouldn’t really say this question’s really applicable to me as I’m still grinding and still got a long way to go, but we will get there god willing.

How Have the Experiences You Rap About Moulded You as a Person?

Music is a way of expression. Real-life experiences, real-life encounters, naturally defined me into the person I am today. If (I) didn’t have these experiences, I wouldn’t be able to share my story through my music.

What is Your Favourite Song to Perform in a Live Setting?

It’s a tight one, but I got to say ‘LEICESTER.’

When Can We Expect a Mixtape/Album From Yourself?

I’ve actually got a project ready to release now but I’m waiting for the right time to drop it. I’d say (the) end of the year latest, (maybe) early 2023.
