Watch Ghetts Perform ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ At The 1Xtra Live 2017

One of the best to ever do Grime…

Over the weekend, BBC 1xtra hosted it’s annual live show and this time around they took it to Manchester. The show saw performances from various top artists from the UK Urban scene.

Amongst them was Ghetts, who took to the stage to perform his newly released single ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. The new single released last week is the first new track from his forthcoming album: Ghetto Gospel: New Testament.

Produced by Nutty P, Ghetts calls in Stefflon Don on the track that is a fusion of grime beats and Asiatic music.

Speaking to Fader, Ghetts has this to say about the single –

“This track really stood out to me because of the fusion between the grime beats and Asiatic music. I’d not heard that done before and it excited me to experiment. Nutty P [producer] went in on this one! Having Stefflon Don lend her vocals for the hook topped the track off perfectly.”
