Down Wid It will be taking over the amazing Shoreditch venue, Cargo to put on a free entry event (though you will be asked to make a donation on the door to charity) on October 24th to launch their new Legends collection.
The event is in order to raise money for Youth Music (http://www.youthmusic.org.uk/), a charity that uses music to transform the lives of children and young people, particularly those with least opportunity. They support hundreds of projects across the country, encouraging young people to recognise their potential.
Down Wid It is one of the fastest growing urban brands in the UK and has recently teamed up with the infamous Hip Hop photographer, Normski to create an exclusive collection of 6 T-shirts. 6 legends of the Hip Hop scene, each captured in an iconic image, they include: Dr Dre, NWA, Guru (R.I.P), Public Enemy, KRS-One & Demon Boyz
On the night their will be a showcase of Normski’s photos. They will have all 6 limited edition photos framed & signed. You will be able to view them before they are auctioned off on the night.
That is not all, the event boasts a powerful line up, featuring some of the biggest acts out right now. Dot Rotten, Faith SFX, Cyco Logic, Ice Kid, Young Kaz, Jonny Gunz, Jessica Symonds, Paigey Cakey, Lazytalk, Zeakz, Messy, Teezy and more all take the stage as well as special guests including Birminghams first lady, Lady Leshurr.
The event will be filmed for the TV show, Whats Up on Pick TV (formally Sky Three) available to watch on Freeview 11/ Top Up TV 11/ Virgin TV 180/ Sky Digital 152, so anyone who attends might be on TV.
With other celebrities due to attend as well as Down Wid It sponsored fight stars Amil Smith (Pro MMA fighter) and Darryl Williams (Pro Boxer) coming down. This event is set to one of the hottest tickets in town.
