Skepta and Sammy Virji Debut ‘Cops & Robbers’ at LDN East Pop-Up

Skepta and Sammy Virji played a surprise show on Wednesday night at LDN East to mark the release of their new track Cops & Robbers.

The event was announced on Tuesday, with free tickets and a secret location adding a bit of anticipation in the lead-up. Fans who managed to secure a spot showed up to a full venue and a strong atmosphere from the start.

Things kicked off with a strong set from DJ and producer Scruz, who delivered a sharp, high-energy mix that set the tone for the night. With selections moving confidently across garage, breaks, and darker club sounds, warming up the crowd properly before the main set. Skepta and Sammy followed with a back-to-back that blended grime, garage and heavier bass – unsurprisingly gaining a big response from the crowd.

Cops & Robbers ended the night, cutting through with heavy drums and a playful edge. The track combines Skepta’s signature delivery with Sammy’s slick production, and clearly hit its mark live.
