Bawo has called upon grime legends Scorcher and JME for his latest single, ‘Shelloff’. The track has been accompanied by an entertaining visual shot by J.L.A-Davis.
Alongside the release, Bawo has also announced that his next project, ‘Surf’s Up’, is due to land on September 25th. All artists involved on this track are at the top of their respective games and link up effortlessly.
Speaking on the music video, the director states:
“For this music video, we collaborated because we wanted to see different people shelloff honestly. I tend to root my ideas in community, keep them simple, and generally push towards surrealism where I can.
Produced by Maya Kotecha, Casted by Mia Gibson-Reed, Shot by Will Gething—the entire crew had one objective! Have fun and make it look good! The song is quite poignant, promoting self confidence and individuality, which is also at the core of talent shows.”
