UK rap legend Chip has come through with his latest single, ‘Rise Up’, featuring Idris Elba, Spice, and Keys N Krates. The track has also been accompanied by a vibrant visual directed by the artist himself and Kevin Hudson.
The single arrives via Idris Elba’s independent label 7Wallace as part of the Here To Stay series, celebrating pioneering figures across UK rap. Chip has been a leader in his genre for the best part of two decades thanks to the sharpness of his pen and hitmaking ability.
There is no doubting that the North Londoner’s legacy in rap has been cemented, but this release is a celebration of his career so far. Chip will go down as one of the best to ever do it in the UK.
