Chip Comes Through With Some Fire In His Behind Barz Debut

In celebration of his 27th birthday, Chip swaps the usual birthday celebration and what comes with it for a more subtle approach – time in the booth resulting to the long awaited Behind Barz freestyle.

Reminiscing on his journey in the music industry, the Tottenham rapper has been in the game since he was 16 – a music career stretching over 11 years. He’s seen it all, made pop when he had and now in a much better place – being in control of what happens in his music career.

Aside from the music, he reflects on his personal life right now and how to move forward. A 27 year old looking to settle down with a girl on his level.

“I guess i need a girl on my level now, not one with her batty out on explore page” he raps.

Chip has had an incredible 2017, releasing his  third  studio album League of My Own II and his first since going independent. This project charted No.12 in the UK album charts, making it 3rd top 20 album.

In addition to that, the current MOBO Awards ‘Best Grime Act’ is up for more Awards this year – the ‘Best Male Act’ and ‘Best Grime Act’ respectively. Can he retain his crown ? we will have to wait and see.
