Skatta has returned with his latest visuals for Shutdown.

Coventry’s grime artist Skatta continues to bring his authentic lyrical style to the scene in punch-heavy track Shutdown. Produced by DJ K Dubz and featured on his latest Fight Night Flows EP, Skatta’s lyricism intertwines real life experiences, moving from the streets to taking on stages being honest about his journey all whilst referencing back to previous collaborations. Paying homage to his boxing background, visually we see Skatta reciting his bars in and around the boxing ring.

Speaking on the single, the MC commented “I stepped in the ring with some heavy punchlines highlighting what my journey is all about – working hard, keeping it real and most importantly making good music. I also talk about my life and actually going through stuff that I talk about in my lyrics“.

Having just come back from touring Europe with fellow U.K MC Kriptik, Skatta hopes his Fight Night Flows EP will inspire and motivate his supporters. Hinting at his forthcoming album Cinema Ticket in Shutdown we are sure this isn’t the last we’ll hear of Skatta this year.
