Cristale Drops New Double Single ‘Vogue’/’Olive Branch’

With an effortless flow against a static whir of bass and drums, new single ‘Vogue’, from London-based artist Cristale sees the Brixton-raised artist embrace her gift of wordplay without missing a word or beat across a fast-moving tune. ‘Vogue’ moves at its own pace, with Toddla T pacing alongside Cristale, lending his hand to enhance her rhythm.
‘Vogue’s’ music video, co-directed by Cristale herself, alongside Ashwin Noel and Sofia Isabella, sees the singer walking through high end clothing and footwear stores in London, and returning to her ‘two bedroom’, that she needs just for me my clothes, and my shoes,’ Selfridges bags decorating her arms. Cristale’s room is pictured as decadent with colour and materials as the singer spreads out the abundance of her new possessions
The B-side track ‘Olive Branch’, sees Cristale turn the leaf of conversation from that of materialistic possessions to the candid perspective held by the singer as she deals with the clash that happens when betrayal leaks into once trusted relationships.
‘They stop congratulating me the more I do,’ Cristale raps. Against another alluring production contribution from Toddla T, Cristale handles the letdown that inevitably follows the rise of an artist who is aiming to reach the top .
