DJ Target, a legend of UK music, has brought together Chip and Tiwa Savage for his latest single, ‘Bring You Flowers’. The track has been accompanied by a slick visual directed by AN Films.
The single is the first taste of Target’s forthcoming debut solo album, due for release in 2027. Already blazing a trail for so many in UK rap, this is the start of a new chapter.
Speaking on the single, Target states:
“I am super excited to announce Bring You Flowers. It feels crazy to be back on this side of the creative fence but I’ve been wanting to produce and release music again for a few years.”
On the upcoming album, he adds:
“This isn’t just a DJ compilation type thing. I was making beats and producing from 15 and although my career has been an adventure, the desire to get back in the studio was really burning these last couple of years so I made a promise to myself that we were gonna fix that. The album really reflects my journey through different genres and salutes both the past and the future.”
