Dusty and Skylark may be fresh names to you but with their latest release ‘Black Mans Timing’, they’re set to become major names on your radar.

Coming with confidence and a bag full of charisma the pair roll out their witty and highly vibsy new single alongside a comical video that dropped exclusively with GRM Daily. Playing on the stereotype that black guys are always running late, both the lyrics and the visual spin the notion on its head alongside a comical delivery that switches up the script and shows us that sometimes, things are just a matter of time and effort, regardless of whether we are late or not.

Having previously released numerous tracks online both together and separately, Dusty and Skylark have built up a pretty hefty and diverse catalogue of music. Citing co-signs and praise from heads such as Jamal Edwards , Ghetts, Rude Kid & Zeph Ellis, their new track has now also sparked the interest of BBC Radio 1Xtra legend DJ Target who premiered ‘Black Mans Timing’ as his #UKUnsigned track on his show, fresh before it dropped across Apple Music and Spotify. The track was then instantly snapped up for addition to Apple Music’s Grime 2.0 playlist, who were not letting this smash pass them by!
