Maverick Sabre and Demae Link Up To Deliver Sombre Visuals For ‘Not Easy Love’

Here to deliver his first single since 2019, the multi-talented and BRIT-nominated singer Maverick Sabre has linked up with soul artiste Demae, for the delivery of sombre visuals to accompany their joint new cut, Not Easy Love.

The video opens up with Maverick softly verbalising the song’s main hook in a low-lit red light; with the camera angle constantly moving frame, through frame to illustrate the artistic concept. When joined by Demae at the halfway point, the songstress doesn’t fail to fuel the sonic with a beautiful set of vocals.

Giving some words on Not Easy Love, Maverick states, “The video represents the cycle of relationships, the deterioration of situations we stay in for all the wrong reasons. We built sets to have the relationship play out in to try and show that love is sold to us as a movie, a false reality that captures many of us to look for things that don’t fulfil our hearts, many of us are in relationships that society has designed to feel right rather than looking within ourselves to know what we really need, life and love on a movie set.”
