With a sound influenced by his London, NYC and Baltimore Roots, multi-talented RNB artist Maxi Mills is setting foot on the scene with the drop of a sensual debut project, titled ‘Captions‘.

Earlier this year, he teased with visual releases for ‘Danny Ocean’ and ‘MDNA’ (both derived from ‘Captions’), hinting at the potential he was about to unleash through the artistic videos that match the slow-reverbed productions of his etheral works; where Danny Oceanis characterised by a fusion of colour and aesthetic settings that change between bright, sun-filled skies and late nights in the city, whilst ‘MDNA’ has a more intimate portrayal.

The project is heavy on RNB elements that are combined with chilled, vibey characteristics drawing influences from Hip-Hop and Funk, creating a sound that is alternative and unique. Using a voice that can be described as none other than liquid gold, the artist glides on the delicate instrumentals with his angelic falsetto; establishing a soulful presence that listeners will deem soothing.

Concluding ‘Captions’ with ‘SFP, Maxi leaves on an ambient but upbeat note intended to create uncertainty, built upon excitement for what will follow after this incredible debut.
