Poundz Presents Visuals For ‘Get Rich N Get Paid’

In succession to the feature he landed on Miss LaFamillia’s ‘Dumb Flex’ remix, Poundz continues his ascension on the scene by presenting viewers with ‘Get Rich N Get Paid’.

Opening the music video (directed by Eric Myers) is a 45-second flashback of a young Poundz facing the consequences of a mistake he made, while still moulding himself into an artist. Throughout the visuals’ continuation, the shots switch between Poundz iced-out; cruising through the open window of a car, and his younger self riding a bike to the studio where he would hone his craft.

Sound-wise, this track is characterised by jumpy RnDrill sonics that are laced with hints of wave, as the artist incorporates a melodic style of delivery at specific points – particularly the hook – which is infectious, and able to match the production’s fast-paced, upbeat rhythm.

Evidently, the rapper’s main takeaway message through this song is that he intends to immerse himself into the art, and by doing so, he has every intention of succeeding.
