With a debut mixtape ‘Dusk & Dawn’ on the way, R&B’s Rasharn Powell has premiered utopic visuals for his latest release ‘Burning Sky’.

The track is characterised by a mid-tempo brought out by drums, and free-flowing acoustics forming the production’s backbone as Powell vocalises his lyrics which give an insight to his experience with love; creating a chilled, but sad melody.

In relation to this work, the artist commented “I just wanted to be honest about letting go of someone I cared about. It’s an amalgamation of negative emotions, but still laced with hope,” and evidently, this is reflected in the music video where he’s featured running through a field with a scarlet sky, making up the back-drop.

‘Burning Sky’ is bound to leave Powell’s audience fuelled with emotion, and seeking the feeling of escapism upon seeing the visual.
