Co-presidents of Universal Music’s frontline U.K. label, 0207 Def Jam, have hit the ground running as their newly-launched label develops. Having welcomed leading British rapper, Stormzy, as their first signee, Alec and Alex Boateng have a groundbreaking game plan for the culture.

The latest news sees U.K. pioneering rap act, Wretch 32, joining the 0207 Def Jam camp as Creative Director, working alongside Char Grant, 0207’s A&R Director.

Upon sharing the news to his Instagram following, the British icon wrote, “When you eat, sleep & breathe music you go wherever it calls you. I’ve been working with the genius Alec for over 10 years, so I’m looking forward to the next 10 with @twintings @charsnaps & the rest of the @0207defjam family!”
