Micheal Ward’s BAFTA victory completes 3-year streak!

Top Boy break-out star and Blue Story actor, Micheal Ward, was amongst a sea of talent when it came to the EE Rising Star Award 2020. He, arguably, has the least critical acclaim and acting experience out of his category yet still grabbed the trophy! He is indeed our rising star, coming right after winners: Letitia Wright (2019) and Daniel Kaluuya (2018).

Micheal, in his emotional acceptance, left us with a valuable message. He said: “What I want to say is, people watching at home, looking at me, life didn’t have to be this way. You have to see the opposite and see a vision.”

Congratulations to Micheal Ward on officially being a BAFTA-winning actor. Who could it be next year?
